Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade components which can be added to weapons, armors and trinkets in order to earn a bonus. They usually have more cost and require the item to be at a certain level.
Upgrades are not usually worth the cost for items that have high requirements. This is especially applicable to items that don't roll a lot of variance like Eth titans.
Glyphs
Once you reach level 50 the action-RPG of Blizzard changes from its simplified campaign to the endgame. This is the time when things start to change, with players being pushed into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons, and new grinds to ensure that their character's building is as robust as it can be.
Glyphs play a key role in this progression. A higher upgrade level for a Glyph boosts its stats and its radius of impact on the Paragon Board. There are a handful of ways to acquire these upgrades, but most players will find themselves relying on the most common method: raiding Faction Crypts.
The Glyphs panel lets you add glyphs to your text by selecting the appropriate option from the menu on the left of the screen. The Glyphs panel displays glyphs that are based on the font in which your cursor is currently located. You can change the font or typestyle, and narrow the list to include only punctuation symbols using the option below the Entire Font. You can view the CID/GID value and Unicode value of a glyph by moving your mouse.
After you've added a few glyphs and then the Glyphs panel will keep the track of the last 35 glyphs you've used, and make them available under Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you must expand the panel to see all 35). You can also remove them from this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking a symbol in the list and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also allows you to design a custom set of glyphs. This is useful if often require typing certain types of text. This will save you from needing to manually insert each glyph when you need it.
A custom glyph set may comprise the maximum number of glyphs, 31 that include the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs used in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The glyphs of the suffix could include ligatures or contextual alternatives that are special variations that combine two or more characters into one visually unifying glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanic that provides extra bonuses to items, such as extra stats. They come in different kinds: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each type comes with a distinct set of extra bonuses to an item.
Reroll Tokens are used to alter an item's base stats and upgrade numbers. They can also be used to reroll substats of rings. This is beneficial if a player wants to upgrade an item but the "potential" potential power of that item is not what they want. Also, if the item's substats aren't ideal.
A reroll costs 1 token and will reset the item's upgrades, but will keep the rarity, set and level unaltered. When an item is leveled up, its tier rises. The Blueprint Desk is a tool that allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients, and Decorations for their restaurants. Blueprints are available at the start of each Preparation Stage and appear as envelopes which can be opened by pressing the Grab. Some recipes require the use of certain ingredients or appliances, and these are available by selecting a Franchise Card from the Blueprint Desk. Certain appliances and inputs are staples, which means that they won't be sold in the Shop or on rerolls while others have a greater likelihood of appearing if the franchise card of a particular brand is selected at the Blueprint Desk. This is called the Staple Pool, and the items in it will remain in that pool for the remainder of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The magic happens when you use the third "R," recycling. When you recycle a product that is made from recycled materials you are not only helping the environment but also giving that item a new life. The majority of recycled items are sent back to their original manufacturer to be remanufactured as a new item. We refer to this as "closing of the loop of recycling."
