World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can increase the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the template for upgrading a weapon ends in %, it will increase 3% of its previous damage every time it's upgraded.
The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases with the item's level.
Components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons to give them a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before the component can be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other modifications, can only be applied once. They cannot be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade may be prefixed or a suffix that alters the name of the equipment to which it is applied (for examplefor example 'Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using less Upgrade crystals than they would require to achieve the same level using standard methods.
A boost upgrade can change the attack or defence characteristics of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be made using the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or buying them in the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals each.
The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will drop at the time of the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to continue upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will improve following a subsequent reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be expensive, and there is a high chance that the item could be obsolete or even break when it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Cash shop items can be used to reduce or eliminate the chance of failure. Certain upgrades also provide the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade components that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes in a radius around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible up to 15 levels.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
Each Glyph has a certain range of values that it can improve a statistic by. The value is shown when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a Glyph of the same rank or higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the Glyph.
Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have the desired Glyphs then you need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that will boost the stats of a particular set of nodes that are within a radius of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph, this will either be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.
Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to place Glyphs in key places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes, but also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes too.
Leveling
The upgrade system for items allows players to boost the effectiveness of certain items by adding upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items can be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level requires a different number of components and the costs for upgrading increase as the item is leveled up.
Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab in a crafting table. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrading an item. When enough points have been earned, you will be able to claim your upgrade and also receive the bonuses.
When Recommended Web site upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own set of bonuses. The item will also lose any bonuses it earned like chances to be crit damage to attack, additional effects (such as increased heal over time, or the speed of reloading). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.
When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that, when a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that was added to the definitions of items. The value is recalculated every time an upgrade occurs.
The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equivalent to its value. For instance, a common item might have five upgrades for a price of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have a lower cost per upgrade.
Premium items may have different upgrade requirements from regular gear. For instance, they may need less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [Armorthe ] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of the upgrade ingredients in addition to the costs mentioned above.
